Success Alert

There have been a huge number of internet marketing products lately based on interviewing "success stories" - that is other internet marketers.

The main reason for this is purely and simply that the seller can put together a product like this very quickly.

He or she finds a few "gurus", emails them a list of questions and then publishes all the answers.

Unfortunately, having read a large number of this type of product recently I have generally found the quality to be pretty poor and the "secrets" the interviews contain to be far from it.

Most of what these books contain can be found for free all over the Internet.

So I was interested to see a new book in the same vein called "Success Alert".

It took me a while to make up my mind to buy it after my past experiences but I was very pleasantly surprised by this 300+ page giant.

The interviews are all of unknown business people rather than big-name gurus - I'd only heard of one of them before - and interestingly have visited one of the featured sites myself in the past as a potential customer.

With just 10 interviews filling the entire book the author goes into great detail in the interviews - and I literally found myself absolutely glued!

I had numerous "lightbulb" moments and took plenty of notes down which I am sure will be of real, practical use to me.

Having just launched a new website I have actually implemented a number of the best ideas on it and it'll be interesting to see the results - though the fact that the interviewees earn a total of $25million a year online means the ideas must work pretty darn well wouldn't you say?!

And there is such a wide range of topics and businesses covered, from furniture to jokes, services to products, affiliates to merchants, that you're bound to find, like I did, dozens of useful ideas that can be applied to your own online ventures.

And of course I also found the book highly motivating - to hear stories of people earning 6 and 7 figure incomes online.

In short, the author John Evans has done a fantastic job with this book - very strongly recommended.
