The Single Biggest Change In Google's Last Algorithm UpdateAs someone who competes in some fierce markets and derives a lot of my traffic from the organic search engines I pay a huge amount of attention to what is working right now, who is rising and who is falling to help me stay "ahead of the wave". In mid April 2006 Google made their latest update to it's algorithm, considerably changing the rankings of established sites in many ultra-competetive niches. But one major factor has changed, and it's opened up a huge chasm of opportunity for marketers like you. It's this... YouTube, the online video site, has started appearing all over the place on the Internet. Google seems to have fallen in love with the site and many amateur videos are now outranking big business competitors. Don't ask me how or why - I'm still looking into that - but the fact remains. Right now the best possible thing you can do for your business is to create a short video closely related to your website's theme and submit it to YouTube. Use your keywords in the video title and description, and provide details of your website address at the end of the video and you'll start to see the results almost immediately. YouTube is currently the world's 44th most visited site and so has the potential to send your site *hoards* of traffic, but you can also increase your results still further by submitting your video to competing sites like Google's Video Search and by linking to it from your own website. With this latest change, online video as a marketing tool has finally come of age. Get into it now before all your competitors do or Google changes it's algorithm again. This needs acting on today. Right now ideally. ======================================================= Privacy Policy | Site Map | UK Merchant Accounts | International Merchant Accounts |
